What is Time?

Time is a description of human perception.
Time is the human mind revealed.
We see not through the eyes, but the mind.
Our perception is based on cause and effect.

What is a person without sensation?
A person who is in the dark.
A person who is numb.
A person who knows no time.

Does water see?
Water flows, drips, rains.
Water is drunk, surfed, splashed.
Water knows no time, because it is always water.

To see is to observe cause and effect.
Effect is the second-born identical twin.
Cause is jumping off a building.
Cause and effect occur at the same time.

The present is the meeting in perception of cause and effect.
The past is the perception of cause and effect remembered.
The future is an idea, the perception of what we wish.
Time is the master’s sleight, whose illusion keeps us safe.

Without perception, there is no cause and effect.
Without cause and effect, there is no time.
